The Compound Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of new paintings by Sarah Edwards. This exhibition explores the relationship between subject and narrative in Sarah’s work by engaging the work’s surrounding environment as well as its viewers. The show incorporates an element of installation to further develop the worlds created in Sarah’s paintings, as animals and mythical creatures escape from the confines of oversized canvases and inhabit the gallery.
