Join us for the Grand Opening of our Interdisciplinary Art Studios in our new Emeryville location!

We will start the day with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at high noon with Emeryville Mayor Bauters followed by an afternoon of art events in our new 14,000 sq ft building which houses our studios and art facilities.

Let’s celebrate our 15 year art anniversary and the opening of our interdisciplinary art facilities! The gallery will be open with a wonderful painting show “On Second Thought…” by artist David Dugoncevic and the new studios will be open for you to explore.  We will have ongoing demos and activities throughout the day and there will be giveaways and a raffle!

Participate in our Map Quest Raffle! Visitors will be given a map that they can stamp as they visit various areas of our facilities. Completed maps can be turned in at a chance to win a raffle prize! Raffle prizes include a Blick Art gift basket (provided by their awesome Berkeley location) and a Compound tote filled with art, bandanas, and more.

Many Compound studio artists will be in the facilities working on their own projects, come see what everyone is up to!  The new studios are located right around the corner from the gallery and letterpress print shop, so you can visit both our spaces for a full art experience.  Free and open to the public.
