PRINTING IN THE PARK

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th 12-4pm

Join us for a free event in the Doyle Hollis Park in Emeryville, CA!

Attention printmaking pals and park enthusiasts! The Compound Gallery is hosting a FREE Printing in the Park extravaganza at Doyle Hollis Park in Emeryville.  A sunny park, the smell of ink in the air, free posters, live music, and you trying your hand at letterpress printmaking. We will be printing posters that celebrate our local parks, community, and art! We’re talking ink, paper, and a dash of creative chaos, all under the sun-soaked skies. Artist David Fullarton will also be printing up some giveaway prints! Live acoustic music by Kepi Ghoulie! Canasta Kitchen food truck (with many vegan and vegetarian options)! We even hear the ice cream man is going to be driving his truck around the park!

While you’re busy getting your print on, we’re throwing in a FREE raffle! Pick up a ticket at our printing station in the park.  Our gallery across the street from the park will be stocked with fantastic prints just waiting for you to snatch them up. So bring your pals, bring your imagination, and let’s turn that park into a printmaking paradise! It’s a day of fun, laughs, ink-stained fingers, and who knows, maybe you’ll even pick up a new favorite hobby. See you there!
