Gallery
The COMPOUND Gallery was established in 2008 by two artists with a love for art. We hold rotating exhibits featuring a diverse range of contemporary art. Our building also features our Art Shop, the Artcade, and the Admiral Dot Miniature Gallery. We were voted Best Art Hang Out 2012 and Best Art Complex 2015 by the East Bay Express. Our Emeryville gallery also hosts a small community print shop and our 17,000 sq ft. interdisciplinary art facilities and art studios are located behind the gallery.

The Admiral Dot Miniature Gallery
Established in 2013, the Admiral Dot Miniature Gallery is named after Admiral Dot, a 19th century San Francisco native and sideshow performer. Dot performed with Barnum as well as various circuses. In honor of his tiny yet mighty persona, we name our miniature gallery after him.
Art Shop
Our cash and carry Art Shop is stocked with prints, sculptures, paintings, and more! Peruse our flat file drawers and explore our collection of contemporary art. Shop local and support the arts!
Artcade
Our coin-op Artcade features games that dispense marvelously peculiar prizes. Try our Fortune Pencil machine, The tiny artist dispenser, ye olde art machine, and our Compound Owl Claw. Most of our machines take credit cards so you don’t have to stretch out your pockets with change.
